Merupakan salah satu irregular verb yang mempunyai arti ‘’datang’

A. Come

Merupakan bentuk invitive, yang sering digunakan untuk menyatakan kalimat present tense, simple future dll,kecuali dalam bentuk past tense. Example :

·         They come for me when I having much money

Come juga memiliki bentuk phrase verb,yaitu :

·         Come In

Kita berkata ‘’come in’’ ketika seseorang mengetuk pintu di luar ruangan,Example :

A: Tok..tok.. (knok)

B: Come in !!

·         Come Out..

Adalah kebalikan dari come in,Example :

- a woman come out of the shop with two big bags

·         Come Back

Come back berarti ‘’return to this place here , Example :

- She went away for three days, she will come back tomorrow

Come back sering digunakan juga dengan from,Example :

- They come back from newseland

·         Come Home..

Come home adalah sama, home = here.

Untuk orang yang berbicara , Example :

Mother     : What time did you come home last night ?

Mr.Ker     : Oh, about eleven ! that’s much too late

B. Came

Merupakan bentuk past tense, biasanya kata came ini hanya digunakan dalam tenses past. Example :

·         Some student came late to the campus justnow

·         They came when I was’nt at the home

Came juga mempunyai bentuk PhraseVerb (idiom)

·         Came off : Terlepas, jatuh, gugur

-The knop came off

-The leaves have came off

C. Come

Merupakan bentuk past participle dari kata come. Walaupun bentuknya yang sama. Namun kedua kata ini dapat di bedakan dengan rumus pembentukan kalimatnya. Example :

·         S + Have / Has + come ( present perfect )

-Fatma has come the meseum

·         To be + come (V3) (passive voice)

-Aceh is come by many foregner
